The energy conservation of the extruder

The energy saving of extruder can be divided into two parts: one is the power part and the other is the heating part.

Energy saving in the power part(extruder): most of them use frequency converters. The way to save energy is to save the remaining energy consumption of the motor. For example, the actual power of the motor is 50Hz, but you actually only need 30Hz for production. Those excess energy consumption will be wasted. The frequency converter is to change the power output of the motor to achieve the effect of energy saving.

Energy saving of heating part(extruder): most of the energy saving of heating part adopts electromagnetic heater, and the energy saving rate is about 30% ~ 70% of the old resistance coil.

Working process of the extruder
The plastic material enters the extruder from the hopper and is transported forward driven by the rotation of the screw. In the process of moving forward, the material is heated by the barrel, sheared and compressed by the screw, which makes the material melt. Therefore, the change among the three states of glass state, high elastic state and viscous flow state is realized.

In the case of pressurization, the material in viscous flow state passes through the die with a certain shape, and then becomes a continuum with similar cross section and die appearance according to the die. Then, it is cooled and shaped to form a glass state, so as to obtain the workpiece to be processed.
